Grace Emmet is an eco-artist, writer, naturalist, educator, and serves as the Provincetown Art Association and Museum’s Curator of Community Education.
Her place-based art and writing practice is dependent on an intimate relationship with the land informed by her foraging and natural ink making process. By promoting ecological literacy and interdependence with nature through her work, Grace focuses on creating pathways between our human and natural worlds founded in coexistence and sustainability.
She holds her BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and has shown in galleries, museums, and universities across the Northeast and her artwork can be found at Frying Pan Gallery, Flotsam Mercantile & Design, and Farm Projects. She is the author of Solstice Tree: A Story of a Forest in Times of Darkness and Light and the substack Sundog published seasonally. Grace lives and works out of Wellfleet, Massachusetts.
